2025 Cheever Park 1 Wall Doubles

David Jensen traveled with coach Ben Van Arsdale to Griffith, IN to the premier 1 wall tournament in the Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana area. David was paired with Minnesota 1 waller Ed Brazman in a competitive B doubles and Ben paired with former college teammate Patrick Cooke in the Open doubles.

After a quick first match, Ben and Patrick were in a battle in the semis. Despite losing the first game and down 16-20 in the second game, Ben and Patrick were able to dig deep to force a tiebreaker where they were able to pull away for the win. In the finals, they put together their best game yet with superb serving and kill shots to walk away as the tournament champions!

David and Ed took a little time to get used to each other as partners, but battled their way through plenty of close games. David more than held his own in his first B tournament.

Overall, it was a great day to be out in the sun playing some handball. Thanks to the tournament directors Anthony La Rocca and Victor Sanchez for putting on a great tournament!
